As the Junior Achievement Social Equity Program (SEP) marks two years since its inception, in Uganda, we share with you a story of Phoebe Nandutu, from Bududa district.
In 2012, Phoebe lost both of her parents to landslides. On the fateful afternoon, she ran home during lunchtime after a heavy downpour only to find her house covered by mudslides. Ever since then, Phoebe has grown up under the care of her Aunt, Phoebe Lubango.
At the begining of August, Phoebe participated in our SEP bootcamp at Arlington Academy of Hope Uganda in Bududa district.
