Junior Achievement Uganda and Prudential Uganda Announce Winners of Essay Competition

Junior Achievement Uganda, in collaboration with Prudential Uganda, proudly unveiled the winners of their recent Essay Competition, celebrating young minds and their creative expression. The competition drew an impressive 400 entries from students across the country, showcasing their talent, critical thinking, and writing skills.

The top honor was awarded to Michelle Mmamate from Asifiwe International Academy, whose essay stood out for its depth, originality, and compelling narrative. Michelle’s achievement highlights her exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and creativity.

The 1st runner-up position was claimed by Li Jiang Ming from Heritage International School. His essay impressed the judges with its unique perspective and strong command of language. Bawumbya Kalyango Simon from Mengo Senior School emerged as the 2nd runner-up, earning accolades for his insightful analysis and engaging writing style.

The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their intellectual capabilities and share their perspectives on important topics. Junior Achievement Uganda and Prudential Uganda believe in nurturing young talent and empowering the next generation with opportunities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.

Speaking during the announcement, Ms. Racheal Mwagale, the JA Uganda Executive Director, commended the participants for their outstanding efforts and encouraged them to continue honing their skills. They reiterated their commitment to supporting educational initiatives that inspire and empower young people to excel.
