Uganda’s Eco Dynamics JA Company has landed in Mauritius to represent the country at the 14th edition of the Junior Achievement (JA) Africa Company of the Year (COY) Competition. This premier event, scheduled from December 4-6, 2024, will see high school innovators from across the continent showcase their entrepreneurial prowess.
Eco Dynamics JA Company, crowned Uganda’s national champion earlier this year, is eager to present its innovative solutions in renewable energy. The team’s arrival signifies not only their preparedness but also Uganda’s commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurial talent.
The COY competition gathers top student-led companies from Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, and other African nations. Participants will pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges, demonstrating innovation, business acumen, and social impact.

Hosted in Mauritius, this year’s event promises a unique platform for collaboration and learning, as students compete for cash prizes and recognition. Eco Dynamics’ project aligns with global efforts to combat climate change, focusing on reducing carbon emissions through eco-friendly energy solutions.
As they step onto the African stage, Team Uganda carries the aspirations of a nation and serves as a beacon of what young talent can achieve when empowered. The three-day competition is set to inspire and drive innovation across the continent.

Uganda wishes Eco Dynamics JA Company the very best as they compete and shine on this prestigious platform!
