About the Program

Cha-Ching is a financial literacy Programme designed to equip 9 to 11-year-olds with the knowledge, tools and practice they need to make informed financial decisions to reach their own personal goals and dreams.

The Cha-Ching School Curriculum targets primary school students and adopts a modular development approach to allow flexibility of educators and students to “mix and match” lessons that best support local requirements. Six lesson plans of 45 minutes each are designed to run either as stand-alone sequential programs or independently as additional learning that can be added to any school programs. Each lesson’s structure includes learning activities based on the Cha-Ching program, a cartoon, and a board game.

Pupils are encouraged to use critical thinking to make decisions on how they manage their money applying the four concepts: Earn, Save, Spend and Donate in their daily lives which support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their money –management skills early enough.
